There are times you need to check your twitter followers/following ratio to counter the 'Follow limit' restriction placed by twitter for reducing user/system abuse. Everyone is allowed to follow 2000 people. After that, follow limits are based on the number of people who are following you. i.e. the Followers/Following ratio must be equal to (or) greater than 1 (one). Say you're following 2000 people, but only have 1500 followers, means you can't follow any more people until you get your Followers/Following ratio right. There are only 2 ways to get this right:

A) Make other people follow you (by updating your twitter timeline with quality tweets, by re-tweeting other people's tweet, by inviting anyone you know to join you as a follower). But, this'll be tough I know.

B) Better way to do tackle this problem is by cutting away people who're not following you back (but still in your following list) or by leaving away people with no account activity for months or even weeks. If you've reached a follow limit, you can help yourself by reducing your following number until it resembles your followers number. Since the follow limit is based on Followers/Following ratio rather than time, you'll have to un-follow people before you're able to follow again.
But there ain't a easy way to track the user who's not following you back or with less or no account activity over time. But there is a simple, free website/application helps you to do this fairly effortlessly. It's named FriendOrFollow. You can also find out who's following you that you're not following back.

All you've to do is: Enter your twitter user name in FriendOrFollow and click 'Submit' button. You'll taken to the page where you can see who you're following (but not followed back by them), who're your fans/followers (but not followed by you) and who're your friends (means mutually following). You can also list the users by their user name, name, location, followers/following numbers, last tweet, account age tags. To tackle the twitter follow limit problem, you just have to click the 'Following' tab and double click (or open in new window/tab) the user you like to remove/un-follow. That's it. This page is updated in real time. So the results are showing in your twitter profile instantly. Enjoy!
